Metallwarenfabrik Gemmingen demonstrated its international expertise in the development and production of generators and power generation systems at Bauma with its brands GEKO and Eisemann.
In addition to the “classics,” the specialists from Kraichgau also showed the new GEKO hybrid MES-B 12 kW/400. This self-sufficient and mobile storage system is connected between the electricity generator and the electricity consumer, stores the electricity and releases it back to the consumer in exactly the right amount as required. A power boost function adds the power of the GEKO hybrid and the power generator under high loads, which is why it can be made smaller. This in turn promises savings in fuel and maintenance costs. The capacity is 12 kW/h, and it takes two and a half hours to fully charge the mobile storage system, which weighs 750 kg. “The hybrid is particularly suitable for particularly sensitive areas,” says Jörg Boketta, Head of International Sales, in conversation with bauMAGAZIN. The visitors to the trade fair stand were also extremely impressed with the GEKO hybrid. “We had a really good number of visitors,” says Boketta.
