The company's portfolio includes both compact combination devices that offer welding work and power generation in one, as well as robust PTO generators, two-bearing generators and powerful large devices that are tailored to the individual needs of the user.
These include, for example, the modern "SuperSilent" versions, which, in addition to complete fairing, rely on special technology to be able to reduce and increase the engine speed as required. In this way, consumption, exhaust emissions, noise and wear can be significantly reduced. Shortly after the last electrical power output, the speed of the drive motor is reduced by 20% to 40%, depending on the type of unit. This means the power generator remains operational. Only when electrical power is required again is the motor ramped back up to full power by the control system, so that even consumers that are difficult to start can be operated. Another important requirement, especially with regard to engine design, is the EU Stage V emissions standard.

Stricter emissions regulations have led to additional development work in recent years. With the introduction of EU Stage V, the permissible emission values will be reduced even further. With the Hatz motors, GEKO made early use of the right technology in the power range up to 56 kW in order to remain future-proof. GEKO claims to be one of the first manufacturers in the world to offer certified Stage V generators in this segment and can therefore offer its customers the best possible performance for use in metropolitan areas. Compared to market competitors, the devices are not only “Stage V ready”, but also fully comply with the legal framework.
In addition, there is the use of so-called PMG technology in conjunction with engines with electric injection (EFI). Compared to previous generators from market competitors, these should be characterized by a significantly higher efficiency of 95% and lower waste heat. In addition, there is better interference immunity, low leakage currents and, above all, higher starting currents (up to five times the nominal current). A more stable speed through automatic readjustment and the automatically controlled choke round off these advantages.
At the same time, GEKO relies on optimal usability and reliable vandalism protection. Versions such as the “Super Silent 35019” also have hinged doors to protect against rain and snow during outdoor maintenance. There are also water drainage edges around the doors. There are also useful extras such as an internal filler neck, base frame as a collecting tray with a drain plug for collected liquids, a lockable control panel, a jump start socket or an integrated dummy load for regenerating the particle filter. A rear warning system and ambient lighting ensure safe operation. The 35019 also has a lifting eye for easy loading and skids with forklift straps.
Fast and uncomplicated leasing

This begins, for example, with compact systems such as the 2015 EP/YHBA SS, which was designed primarily for the use of small power tools, hammer drills, angle grinders or lighting supply solutions, and ends with large devices that can certainly be described as flexible power plants for industry and construction . In addition to the new Stage V versions, solutions with industrial diesel engine drives are also available that meet the Stage III A/Stage II emissions standards. The company's core objective is to ensure that the various electricity producers are able to achieve this in terms of their performance, consumption, the costs and robustness are tailored exactly to the respective needs.
